I post about random things, work - which is about climate data, architecture and academia. I have a smol conure named Pete Heisenbirb who makes an appearance every so often. I also like sci-fi, motorcyles, eBikes, crafty things, DnD, boardgames and pottery. That's all for now

I've been wondering whether to go back, because my current server is pretty quiet. How is it over there?
With the right app, and probably the browser version, you can follow instances. I left mastodon.au when it appeared to be imploding, but still follow it via my app. The best of both worlds, I guess. I follow other instances as well. I paid for Fedilab for Android, specifically for the feature. It's a pretty good app, too.
I'm sure other apps do it now, Android or IOS.

I paid for Fedilab so that my timeline stays where I left it, but it has so many other features that I haven't played with yet.
